We're currently recruiting for a highly organised and people-focused Project Administrator to support one of our valued clients operating in the building services sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong stakeholder engagement experience, a background in housing or construction environments, and a passion for delivering positive community outcomes.
The Role:
As a Project Administrator, you'll play a vital part in supporting the day-to-day running of housing maintenance and repair projects. You'll be the key link between residents, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, excellent service delivery, and the integration of community and social value initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for concerns, resolving issues early to avoid complaints escalating. Maintain and report on complaint logs, analysing trends and recommending service improvements. Liaise with clients, local representatives, MPs, and community leaders, ensuring they're informed and engaged. Manage compensation or goodwill arrangements where necessary. Support tenant communications throughout ongoing works. Attend resident meetings and represent the business where required.
Project Administration: Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of maintenance and repair projects. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timelines and standards are met. Contribute to monthly project reports with insights from surveys and stakeholder feedback.
Social Value Delivery: Lead initiatives to embed social responsibility into projects. Identify opportunities to enhance community wellbeing and sustainability. Track and report on engagement outcomes and improvements to residents' quality of life.
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Background: Minimum 3 years' experience in a Resident Liaison Officer, project admin, or stakeholder-focused customer service role. Previous work with local authorities, councils, or housing associations. Experience within housing, social care, or construction environments preferred.
Skills & Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths (Grade C or above). Strong understanding of customer care for vulnerable residents. Proactive, organised, and solution-oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The Package:
