📍 Northwest London | 💼 Full-Time, Permanent | 💷 £34,000+ per annum

We're recruiting for a skilled and experienced Heating Engineer on behalf of a growing client operating across the building services sector. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in diagnosing and maintaining communal or district heating systems, looking to work on a variety of sites across Northwest London.

The Role:

You'll be part of a specialist team responsible for maintaining heating systems in residential and multi-occupancy properties. This includes diagnosing and resolving faults, replacing components, and working closely with internal teams to deliver high standards of service across term contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose faults and replace central heating components. Carry out maintenance and repairs in line with technical drawings and standards. Represent the business professionally on-site. Complete inspections and ensure accurate record keeping. Maintain compliance with all company, client, and regulatory standards. Follow company H&S policies and adhere to industry best practice.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing, Heating, Mechanical Services or HVAC required. Unvented hot water and ACS certifications desirable.
Skills & Knowledge: Proven technical knowledge of heating systems, fault-finding, and part replacement. Understanding of district/communal heating design and in-dwelling components. Competency in draining/refilling systems, isolating faults, and reading technical schematics. Strong communication and customer service skills. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in heating system installation and repair in multi-occupancy properties. HIU experience is desirable. Must be confident managing customer expectations and working in a busy, responsive environment.

Additional Requirements:

Fluent English. Willing to work standard contracted hours (8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday). May be required to join an out-of-hours call-out rota. Must be eligible to work in the UK and willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

The Package:
