Firedoor Safety

Rubix M&E are currently on the lookout for a General Carpenter with proven experience in fire door installation and FRA remedials.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and respected team working on a variety of social housing, public sector and commercial projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Installing and repairing fire-rated doorsets

• Carrying out FRA remedial works to ensure fire safety compliance

• General 1st and 2nd fix carpentry as needed

• Working in occupied and void properties

• Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with fire safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience installing fire doors

• Knowledge of FRA requirements and documentation

• Valid CSCS Card

• Own tools and transport

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry (desirable)

• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
