Account Manager

Are you a confident, hands-on Account or Contract Manager with experience in the trades or building services sector? We’re seeking a driven and organised individual to take ownership of multiple domestic contracts across gas, electrical, and general maintenance services.

This is a client-facing role suited for someone with a strong background in managing field-based engineers, a deep understanding of service delivery, and the ability to lead operational excellence across fast-paced, compliance-driven contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operational delivery of multiple contracts within the domestic housing and FM sector.

Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.

Lead and manage a team of engineers and office-based support staff, ensuring that SLAs and KPIs are consistently met.

Monitor contract performance and compliance, produce performance reports, and present updates to internal stakeholders.

Identify and implement solutions to improve service delivery, reduce costs, and boost client satisfaction.

Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety legislation, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

Proven experience in an Account or Contract Management role within domestic gas, electrical, FM, or social housing environments.

Strong leadership and team management skills, particularly with trade-based engineers and operatives.

Excellent communication skills, able to liaise confidently with clients, engineers, and senior leadership.

Solid understanding of contract performance metrics, compliance processes, and service delivery models.

Comfortable managing workloads in high-pressure environments and resolving issues proactively.
