Job Title: Commercial Contracts Manager
Location: Nazeing, Essex
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview:
We are working with a long-established and highly respected organisation within the manufacturing and industrial services sector. Due to continued success and growth, they are looking to appoint a commercially astute and detail-driven Commercial Contracts Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of client contracts, ensuring legal compliance, cost control, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer commercial contracts from initial negotiation through to final delivery and renewal

  • Liaise closely with internal departments (sales, finance, operations) to ensure contract terms are fulfilled

  • Negotiate terms and pricing with clients and suppliers, ensuring value and compliance

  • Monitor contract performance, KPIs, and ensure timely invoicing and payment

  • Identify and mitigate risks within contracts and service delivery

  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and audit trails

  • Support business development teams with tender responses and proposals

  • Act as the point of contact for all contract-related queries, both internally and externally

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a commercial contracts or contract management role

  • Strong understanding of contractual law, commercial terms, and risk management

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Highly organised with attention to detail and a methodical approach

  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)

  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment preferred

  • Legal or commercial qualifications desirable but not essential
