Job Title: Commercial Contracts Manager
Location: Nazeing, Essex
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Overview:
We are working with a long-established and highly respected organisation within the manufacturing and industrial services sector. Due to continued success and growth, they are looking to appoint a commercially astute and detail-driven Commercial Contracts Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of client contracts, ensuring legal compliance, cost control, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and administer commercial contracts from initial negotiation through to final delivery and renewal

Liaise closely with internal departments (sales, finance, operations) to ensure contract terms are fulfilled
-
Negotiate terms and pricing with clients and suppliers, ensuring value and compliance
-
Monitor contract performance, KPIs, and ensure timely invoicing and payment
-
Identify and mitigate risks within contracts and service delivery
-
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and audit trails
-
Support business development teams with tender responses and proposals
-
Act as the point of contact for all contract-related queries, both internally and externally
Requirements:

Proven experience in a commercial contracts or contract management role
-
Strong understanding of contractual law, commercial terms, and risk management
-
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
-
Highly organised with attention to detail and a methodical approach
-
Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
-
Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment preferred
-
Legal or commercial qualifications desirable but not essential
