Job Title: Fire & Security Service Engineer
Salary: Competitive + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

About the Role:


We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national provider of fire and security solutions, known for delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and support services across commercial and public sector environments. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their dynamic field-based team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on a variety of fire and security systems including:

    • Fire Alarms

    • CCTV

    • Intruder Alarms

    • Access Control

  • Respond to reactive callouts and emergency breakdowns efficiently and professionally

  • Ensure systems are operating to the correct standard and comply with relevant regulations (BS5839, BS EN50131, etc.)

  • Complete accurate and detailed job reports

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships

  • Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with fire and/or security systems (multi-disciplined preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of current standards and industry best practices

  • FIA Units or equivalent qualifications highly desirable

  • ECS/CSCS Card (or ability to obtain)

  • Full UK driving license

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

  • Flexible with working hours and participation in on-call rota
