Prior to joining the business, he also spent three years building and running his own SaaS company, developing strong commercial awareness, resilience, and a customer-focused approach.

Although recruitment is a new industry for Aston, many of the skills he has developed throughout his career transfer naturally into his role. His background in qualifying individuals, understanding motivations, managing relationships, and matching clients with the right solutions has enabled him to quickly adapt to the fast-paced world of recruitment.

Aston is known for his strong communication skills, active listening, and ability to build genuine relationships with both candidates and clients. Organised, driven, and highly approachable, he takes a consultative approach to recruitment, focusing on understanding individual needs rather than simply filling vacancies.

Passionate about delivering an excellent candidate experience, Aston prides himself on being responsive, transparent, and supportive throughout the recruitment process. He believes in keeping candidates informed at every stage and works hard to ensure each opportunity is aligned with their career goals and aspirations.

Outside of work, Aston is a keen motocross enthusiast. After picking up a few injuries over the years, he jokes that his X-rays now look more like Iron Man than human – making airport security checks a little more interesting than most.
